After roaming the streets of Dorset in our digital van, letting residents far and wide know that the winner of the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, Norfolk, was indeed amongst them, we finally rolled up to the door of our lucky winner: Daren Bell, a facilities manager from Bournemouth.
And as Jo revealed Daren’s prize on the big screen, his face said it all—shock, disbelief and utter elation!
After getting over the initial surprise (and removing some pesky confetti cannon strands from his beard) Daren said, “I can’t comprehend it at this moment in time, but Norfolk here I come!”
After having a few days to let the news sink in, Daren finally got to look around his new £4,500,000 house and take in those stunning coastal views. Overwhelmed, Daren said, “Come on, could it get any better than that? I didn’t think places like this existed, let alone be in one…let alone win one!”
